My grandfather Charles James Wilson ( from Lowell ) was a police officer in the city of Worcester for 33 years retired October of 1954. He and his wife Mary F. (Murphy). raised 4 daughters, Catherine, Marguerite (Peggy), Dorothy and May, one son C. Woodrow (Woody). I believe they lived on Agate Ave and Pleasant St. The children attended Commerce High School, and local Catholic Churches. My greatgrandmother whom I believe lived with them was Catherine (Buchanan) Murphy. daughter of Eugene Murphy of Worcester. (1800s). and my other grandmother Frances Cornell married Edward (Eddie) Wilson I believe from Lowell. My mother (Catherine) spoke of the hills and the Lake often. I would like to search deeper into my familys past from Worcester and find out more about their town and lives.
