In the name of God, Amen.

This fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and fourteen.  I Barzillai Banister of Southborough in the County of
Worcester, Gentleman, being of sound mind and memory, but calling to mind
the frailties of Human Nature, and that it is appointed unto all, once to
die, do ordain, make, and publish this my last Will and Testament.

First - I recommend my Soul into the hand of God who gave it, and my Body to
be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executors hereafter
named; and touching(?) such Worldly Estate as God hath blessed me with in
this World, I dispose of in the following manner.

I give unto my beloved Wife Nancy all my Estate both Real and Personal
except what shall be hereafter mentioned, she to pay all my just Debts and
funeral charges and the settling of my Estate.

I give to the Heirs of my Daughter Irena Warner dec'd One Dollar.
I give to the Heirs of my Daughter Polly(?) Hannum deceased, One Dollar.
I give to my Daughter Tryphena Parmenter, One Dollar.
I give to my Daughter Sophia Foster, One Dollar.
I give to my Daughter Deborah Rice, One Dollar.
I give to my Daughter Abigail Stearns One Dollar.
I give to my Daughter Lucy Rice, One Dollar.
it being their full share of my Estate, with what they have received; and to
be paid to them in one year after my decease.

I give to my Son Caleb Strong Banister One hundred and fifty Dollars.
I give to my son Joseph Grammer(?) Banister One hundred and fifty Dollars;
to be paid to them at the age of Twenty one, their sums to draw Interest
from the year 1818 till paid; if one of them should die before receiving his
Legacy the other (-?-) both shares, and if both shall die short of receiving
their shares it shall remain in the hands of my beloved Wife and be at her
disposal.

Lastly I constitute, ordain, and appoint Timothy Bellows of Southborough and
my beloved Wife Nancy sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament and
I do by these presents revoke and disa-(?) all former Wills and Testaments
and declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

In Witness whereof, I the said Barzillai Banister have set my hand and seal
this aforesaid fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord 1814.

Signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Barzillai
Banister to be his last Will and Testament, in presence of us who at his
request have hereunto set our names as Witnesses.

Worcester ss(?):  To all People to whom these presents shall come, Nath'l
Paine Esq. Judge of the Probate of Wills etc in the County of Worcester
within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, sendeth Greeting.

Know ye that on the sixth day of June Anno Domini 1815 the Instrument
hereunto annexed (purporting the last Will and Testament of Barzillai
Banister late of Southborough in the County of Worcester deceased) was
presented for Probate by Nancy Banister & Timothy Bellows the Executors
therein named, then present Adonijah Sanger and Silas Amsden two of the
Witnesses thereto subscribed, who made oath that they saw the said Testator
sign, seal, and heard him declare the said Instrument to be his last Will
and Testament, and that they with Elbridge Chamberlin subscribed their names
together as Witnesses to the Execution thereof in the said Testators
presence and that he was then (to the best of their judgment) of sound and
disposing mind.

I do therefore Prove, Approve and Allow of the said Instrument as the last
Will and Testament of the above named Deceased and commit the Administration
thereof in all matters the same concerning and of his Estate whereof he died
seized and possessed in said Commonwealth unto Nancy Banister and Tim'o
Bellows the before named Executors, well and faithfully to execute the said
Will and to administer the Estate of the said Deceased according thereto;
who have accepted said trust and have given Bond to exhibit an Inventory of
said Estate into the Probate Office in said County within three months and
to render an Account (upon oath) of their proceedings when thereunto
lawfully required. 

In Testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal of Office the day
