(22) He died on 28 Sep 1979 in Wellsville, Allegany, New York. Wellsville, NY - Funeral services will be held at 2 this afternoon for Charles N. Heintz, 85 of 75 Stevens St. here. Mr. Heintz died Friday (Sept. 28, 1979) in Jones Memorial Hospital here after a long illness. Born February 5, 1894 in Batavia, he lived there until 1975 when he
married in Wellsville to Irene (VanEpps) Gleason who survives him (Irene VanEpps was sister of Nancy VanEpps. Nancy VanEpps was grandmother to Joyce (Hyde) Kuehl.) In Batavia Mr. Heintz had worked as a machinist for E.N. Rowell Co. until he retired in 1972.
Besides his wife he is survived by six daughters: Mrs. Doris Voznick of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mrs Shirley Yackel of Rochester, NY.; Mrs Eleanora Calkins of Batavia, NY.; Mrs Gerry Radney of Pasadena, TX; Mrs. Gloria Cusson of Waynesboro, VA.; and Mrs. Jean Wicks of Plainfield, Conn.;four stepdaughters, Mrs. Velma Neely and Mrs. Gloria Broughton, both of
Wellsville, NY., Mrs. Irma Bolduc of Swansea, Mass., and Mrs Janet Williams of Lynchburg, Va., two step-sons, Clair Gleason of Casa Grande, AZ., and Lyle Gleason of Inverness, FL.; 33 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren; and a brother Harold Heintz of San Francisco, CA.Services will be held at J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville, NY. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia, NY. He was buried on 2 Oct 1979 in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia, Genesee, NY. (30) He worked as a machinist at E.N. Rowell, the box factory, in Batavia, NY. Edna Abigail BRADFIELD and Charles Norris HEINTZ had the following children:
