Mrs. Carrie M. Murray, 78, of No. 11 Trumbull Parkway, widow of Peter H. Murray, died at 3:15 0'clock yesterday afternoon (April 16, 1946) at the Hill Top Sanittarium. She had been ill for two years and in serious condition for six weeks.
Mrs. Murray was born iin Michigan on MArch 13, 1868, and spent most of her life in Batavia. She attended Miss Thrall's School. Mrs. Murray was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Majestic Rebekah Lodge, Woman's Relief Corps, Daughters of Union Veterans, Independent Aid Society, King's Daughters, Warren Sunshine Sisters, Alpha Circle, First Presbyterian Class No. 7 and St. Margaret's Society of St. James
Church.
Surviving Mrs. Murray are a niece, Mrs. A.K. Webster of Albion; a nephew, Clarence C. Buck of Buffalo, and a cousin, Mrs. John Simmons of Morganville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the H.E. Turner & Co. Mortuary with the Rev. John T. Sanborn, rector of St. James' Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Ccemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.

She was married to Peter H. MURRAY on 2 Dec 1886 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.^{(31) (22)} Dec. 2, 1886---The marriage of Peter Henry Murray of oakfield and Miss Carrie Mina Bliss took place at the residence of the bride's parents in Batavia yesterday, the Rev. C.A. Johnson officiating.
Peter H. MURRAY⁽²²⁾ was born on 24 Nov 1859.⁽³¹⁾ He was from Oakfield, NY. Carrie M. BLISS and Peter H. MURRAY had the following children:

Carl Warner, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Murray of No. 11Trumball Place, died of cholera iinfantum at 12:30 o'clock today, age 6months. The funeral will be held from the house on Trumball Pl. at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
