389. Alice Rosemond SPRAGUE was born on 25 Oct 1867 in Batavia, Genesee, NY. She died on 16 Nov 1938 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽²²⁾ Mrs. Alice R. Brayley, wife of Edwin Brayley of No 39 Vernon Avenue, died at 9 O'clock yesterday morning ( November 6, 1933) after being in ill health for three years. She was a member of Majestic Rebekah Lodge. No 207. Besides her husband, Mrs. Brayley is survived by a son, Roy Bradfield of Buffalo; Three daughters, Mrs. Norris Heintz of Batavia, Mrs. John M. E. Briggs of Rochester, and Mrs. Howard P. Thomasof No 39 Vernon Avenue., and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Friends may call at the home until tomorrow noon when the remains wil be taken to H. E. Turner &Co. Mortuary form where the funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. Carlyle T. Beynton, pastor of the First Episcopal Church willofficiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽²²⁾ The bearers were C. Norris Heintz, Howard Thomas, Raymond F. Brayley, Clyde H. Heintz, and George H. Pfann all of Batavia.

She was married to Frank Eugene BRADFIELD (son of Andrew BRADFIELD and Polly GRIFFITH) on 4 Feb 1890 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽²²⁾ A WEDDING THIS AFTERNOON
Feb. 4, 1890--- Miss Alice Sprague of Batavia and Frank Bradfield of Bethany were united in marriage at the home of the bride's brother, Alvin Sprague, at No.46 South Street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. Cyrus A. Johnson performed the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bradfield, well-known residents of Batavia, quietly observed the 58th anniversary of their marriage at their home on Law Street today. Mr. Bradfield was born at Idleport 75 years ago and was the sonof a native of England. Mrs. Bradfield's maiden name was Polly Griffith and she was born in the vicinity of Horseshoe Lake 72 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Bradfield have three childeren, Charles, Edward and Ida. all of Batavia.
In 1880 they lived in Yankee Springs, Barry county, MI. Frank Eugene BRADFIELD⁽²²⁾ was born on 10 Jun 1866 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, MI. He died on 30 Apr 1909 in Buffalo, Erie, NY.⁽²²⁾ May 1, 1908
Frank E. Bradfield, a former Batavia carpenter, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, #239 Barton street, Buffalo, from tuberculosis of the lungs. He had been ill since January and confined to his bed just four weeks. Mr. Bradfield, who was in the 42nd year of his age, was born in Michigan. When 15 years of age he came to Batavia, where he lived all fo the time uup to five years ago, when he moved to Buffalo excepting a few years spent in Elba. He is survived by his wife, one son, Ross S. (probably Roy) and two daughters, Edna G. and Agnes N. all at home. He also leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bradfield of Law Street, Batavia; Two Brothers, Charles of Michigan and Edward of Olean, and onsister , Mrs. Ida M. Gray of Batavia. Services will be held at the house inBuffalo on Sunday morning at 9:30 o;clock and the remains will arrive in Batavia on the 1;10 pm train. They will be taken to the First Baptist Church, where services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Hayne. The interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. He was a member of the Elba Odd Fellows Lodge. He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia, Genesee, NY. He lived and died at 239 Barton Street, Buffalo, Erie, NY and in Bethany,NY.

They were married by Rev. George K. Warren. Edwin Francis BRAYLEY ^(27)(34) was born in Aug 1859 in Oakfield, Genesee, NY.^{(27) (35)(34)} In 1930 they lived on Drake St. Rd, Elba, NY. He was a farmer.
