Hon. Wm. B. Banister, of this city, who died a few weeks since, has left the principal portion of his property, say about $40,000, to be divided equally to the American Bible Society; the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions; the American Education Society; the Massachusetts Home Missionary Society; and the American Colonization Society. The property is chargeable with life annuties of 1200 to his widow, and $ 600 to his daughter. - Newburyport Herald.
